Artizani was commissioned in 2009 with The Cabaret of Dr Caligari, providing an afternoon of cabaret with music, dancing, comedy and spectacle for a family audience. The chaotic Dr Caligari conjures oddities, eccentrics and acrobats out of thin air to entertain, but once out of the box, they refuse to disappear! 

The show did a small scale tour in the South Lakes for Lakes Alive in 2009. It returned to Cumbria in 2010 as part of a West Coast Tour for Lakes Alive. The show played at venues in Silloth, Workington, Cockermouth, Egremont, Ravenglass and Millom, as well as returning to the Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole, where the performance had unfortunately been rained off the previous year.  This small scale tour played to almost 2500 people in 2010.

In addition to the Lakes Alive shows, the show has also been performed at venues including Ormskirk, Bamford, Hayfield, Belfast, Chorley and South Shields.
